On 19th December 2022 , as part of the creative culb, we conducted a workshop on calligraphy which is very helpful in writing the charts that are essential for teaching practice. Greeshma Gireeshan of Natural Science took the session( Secretary of Creative Club)
December 16
The final day of the camp was led by Mr. Brahma Nayakam Mahadevan sir, founder chairman of Sahajeevan Special School and OJASS. The subject of the talk was ' Be the Change '. It was a very interesting and activity oriented session.
December 15
One day trip made the fourth day very special. We visited the Natural history museum and the Zoological park . After this we headed straight to Vizhinam aquarium a harbour and the final destination was Kovalam Beach.
December 14
The events of the third day was organized by the team Insaniyat. The first session of the day was entitled à´…à´°à´™്à´™ുà´•à´³ി and was led by Mr. Bibin R, Reaserch scholar and Theater activist.
The session mainly emphasized on Drama education and the techniques of theatre. This was followed by a competition of wood carving where team Ikshana persisting of Nimmy, Reshma and Arundhati emerged as winners. The highlights of the day was cultural programme organised by various teams. Another significant event of the day was the making of paper file handled by Greeshma and Nimmy.
The final session of the day was by Dr. Vaishakan Thampi , Assistant professor, department of Physics,M.G College, Trivandrum where he redefined and broadened the horizon on the concept of humanity . It was accompanied by an enlightening interactive session. The day concluded with a one hour camp fire.
December 13
On the second day , the teams presented the newsletters which summarised the events of the previous day.The events of the second day were organized by Team Elios.
The first session was a talk by Dr.M A Sideek, professor department of Malayalam, University of Kerala on à´®ാനവികതയുà´Ÿെ à´¸്വപ്നങ്ങളും മനുà´·്à´¯ à´µിà´œ്à´žാനവും. The session gave us an insight into humanity throughout ages.
The afternoon session of the day was handled by Ms. Roshini G.S, beat forest officer , Range forest office, Trivandrum on വനവും വന്യജീà´µി à´¸ംà´°à´•്ഷണവും. She gave us great overview on various problems and provisions associated with wildlife conservation. The day ended with the screening of the film sudani from Nigeria which dealt with the certain human emotions and it was accompanied by a discussion. After dinner there was a campus walk.
December 12

The camp was inaugurated by Mr.Y Shibu, assistant commissioner of police, North zone Kozhikode, in presence of principal Dr.K.Y Benedict sir, union advisor Dr.Joju John sir and Camp coordinator Deepthi Elizabeth ma'am and union members.
The events of the first day were organized by team Ikshana. After the inauguration, Mr. Y Shibu talked about the appalling effects of narcotics and he went into the details regarding various addictions and the ways to tackle addictions among the school students.
The next session was headed by Mr. Jith from Kerala fire and safety department , which emphasized on basic fire and safety instructions. It was truly an eye opening class which vanished the false thoughts of students . Then followed by a game Bombing the city, which ensured the entire participation of the students. The winner of the game was Team Elios. The concluding event of the first day was Ganamela by the college musical band.
5th December
The session began with the welcome speech of Dr Joju John and invited Reju Sir to deliver the instructions regarding the dramatic performance. Before the drama session, we were given some warm up activities. Also Reju sir made us perform on the spot tableau. Sir assigned themes for each optionals and gave us 5 minute to discuss.
On performing tableau, it raised our self confidence and we were able to analyse and comprehend the things that we should keep in our mind while performing on stage, like no masking, give space for every one to perform and so on...
Around 12pm began our drama session. The first performance was done by English optional which was based on famous writers and poets in literature. The second performance was given by Physical Science optional which was based on the after effects due to the working of Nuclear Power Plant. And then came Social Science optional which highlighted various social issues in the society. After that came Maths optional which gave emphasis on numbers and geometrical shapes. The environmental issues due to improper waste management was performed by Natural Science optional. Finally Malayalam optional came with a performance based on Malayalam poets and characters in famous books.
At the end, Reju Sir evaluated the performance of all optionals and gave feedback and valuable comments regarding our performance. He appreciated Maths and Social Science optional for their fabulous performance. Also Dr.Joju John sir and the members of different optionals gave feedback and shared their experience.

2 nd December
On 2nd December 2022, we had a meeting at college auditorium and Dr. Joju John gave details regarding the Art Education and Theatre Practice. We were asked to perform drama on 5th December 2022 based on any subject related to our optionals. With less time for preparation accompanied by lot of imperfections and lack of practice , we decided to perform.
