Today we had a group discussion conducted by Maya Ma'am as part of EDU 06: Education in Indian Society. Ma'am divided the whole class into many groups containing 10 members in each. And we had a discussion on Dr. Radhakrishnan commission and Mudhaliar commission.

Our first class began with music🥳🥳
Our principal introduced our new music teacher Lekshmi. She such a lovely teacher who loves music as well as students.
She gave motivation to sing song loudly.She took the basics of carnatic music. It was so soothing to hear the musical notes sung by the teacher. Before beginning the class she divided the whole class into 6 groups and selected the group leaders. Each group decided their names like swaram,melody, akam, thalam, raga,...She first taught us about the origin of carnatic music and make us sing sa..re..ga..ma..pa..da..ni..sa.. It made us relaxed and we were able to express our emotions through it. It made us feel the vibration within ourselves and healed our mind. Music is the key to the power of concentration. She didn't forget to appreciate us for our singing. The details that has discussed in the class is shared below...
Carnatic Music is ruled by 7 octave musical notes. These Sapta Swaras are believed to have originated from “Dumru” (Musical Instrument) of Lord Shiva. 7 musical notes (Swaras) are the following:
Sa – Shadjama (Tonic)
Ri – Rishabha
Ga – Gandhara
Ma – Madhyama
Pa – Panchama (Perfect Fifth)
Da - Dhaivata

Today was the seminar day for Edu 09.8. My topic is Science fair and exhibition.
I have discussed what is a science fair and what are its procedure for organisation, Difference between science fair and exhibition, advantage of science fair.
Science fair is an opportunity for students to apply the scientific method to conduct independent research. The results of each student's research is presented in a school wide science fair--or sponsored local science fair-- where the student's efforts are displayed and where students are interviewed to determine scientific merit. Students who have been judged to have used the scientific method properly and who have demonstrated thoroughness in their studies and effort are awarded prizes and are advanced to compete in regional, state, national and international science fairs.

Mar Theophilus Training College in connection with IQAC and in collaboration with Vidhyabhasa Vikasa Kendram and in association with 66th college union 'Advithiya' and Psychology club of our college presented 10 day National Seminar on Indian Psychological Vision Series. There was an expert talk on the topic " Clinical application of Indian Psychology" . It was organized on 17 September 2022 at 7pm through Google meet. The special guest was Dr. Vinod Kumar M V, professor and HOD of Dept. of Samhita and Sidhanta in VPSV Ayurveda College Kottakkal.

New batch beginssss... 🥰🥰
Today, our new batch 2022 - 2023 was officially began with the blessings of god. Unlike our batch ,this batch have 50 students. We welcomed them a pooja dance and songs. By lighting the candle new friends they started their journey at MTTC.

Second day of our sports meet🥳🥳
As part of the B.Ed Curriculum we had a two day sports celebration at Mar Theophilus Training College under the supervision of Dr.George Thomas and Sports club secretaries Karishma and Fr.Sujith. Each one of us were alloted with certain duties to perform and I have done the role of a photographer of that event. Before the event begins , sir divided 100 students into three houses namely, Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby.I belonged to the emerald House.And the first position were won by Ruby and second position were won by emerald.

Mar Theophilus Training College Trivandrum organized annual sports meet 2022 in association with 65th and 66th college union 'Nisarga' and ' Advithiya' on September 13 and September 14. All the student teachers of both the batches took partipated in the events and made it a grant success. There were events such as 50m race, 100m race, javelin throw , shotput, long jump and 400m relay....❤️
I participated in shot put, discus throw and 50 m race.....

ONAM CELEBRATION 🥳🥳
Onam is a harvesting festival that is celebrated majorly in the state of Kerala. It is one of the most awaited and biggest festival of Kerala that symbolizes the annual home coming of demon king Mahabali. The Onam festival is celebrated by all Malayalis or Keralites for ten days with great zeal and enthusiasm. This year, Onam festival is started from 30th August and this festival will end on 8th September, 2022.
Today after a two years of Covid 19 pandemic MTTC witnessed a full fledged Onam Celebration. From 8:00 am we started to prepare Athapookalam...About 10 : 00 am we had participated in the Mega Thiruvathira held at Basket Ball court.After that we had the cultural programme in the Auditorium.After that we had of our Onam Sadhya. In the After noon session we had our Onam games.In that evening we said good bye to college as our Onam Vacation officially begun for next 10 days....🥰
