Happy International Women's Day 2022: Every year, March 8 is celebrated as International Women's Day to celebrate the cultural, political, and socio-economical achievements of women. Moreover, March also marks the beginning of Women's History Month across the globe. It starts on March 1 and ends on March 31. This year, the theme for International Women's Day is 'Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow'. The goal behind Women's Day is to spread the message of gender equality, celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in different spheres, and work towards building a society free of all gender biases, stereotypes, gender parity and discrimination. On this day, people appreciate the strong, intelligent, talented and simply extraordinary women in their lives.


Today first hour was dealt by Maya teacher. Teacher explained beautifully about the importance of women. Then teacher invited some of the students to explained about their views about women. Our brothers magnificently explained about their views about women. After that we had seminar sessions. Three students from English optionals presented their seminar. After that Natural science optional started their seminar.



After that we had optional class. At that time we had yoga class. It was very difficult for me to perform the yoga postures. After that we discussed about flash mob. All of a sudden we took a descision to perform a flash mob. I am very happy because we got only one hour for practice but we did our practice with full dedication so we done the performance with full heart. As a woman we took a strong descision so that we performed well😊.


Afternoon session women cell conducted a programme as a part of women' s day. I am on cloud nine because I am also a part of women cell. The programme started with a lovely prayer song. Then president of our women 's cell Stijo said the welcome speech. Two videos were played which gave a clear cut idea about the importance of woman. I felt goosebumps by seeing that videos. After that keerthi and kavya sang a marvelous song. Aami sung a song that took us to another world. Expression queen Veena done a very good dance performance. Her expressions was splendid which dragged our attention. There was a quiz session co- ordinated by Aneeta and Riya. It was a nice session. Many students gave brilliant answers with in a moment and the prizes was distributed by Bindhu teacher, Shiny teacher, Neena teacher, shafi sir and Rakesh sir. It was a well organized programme and all the programmes was presented in a systematic way.






I think we have celebrated the women's day more proudly and much more precisely...🥰🥰

Journey to life

 28 February 2022

Today was the last of February.

First session was taken by Maya ma'am. Today ma'am took a new topic " Education and Culture " .

"Culture is a complex whole that consist of everything we think, do and have as a member of Society " . It deals with the different aspects of culture, cultural lag, and Reasons for cultural lag etc.


Next was our optional hour. Maam discussed teaching learning behavior and previous year questions.

Ancy teacher took the remaining part of "Piaget's theory of intellectual development " . We studied the 4 stages - Sensory motor stage, Pre -operational Stage, Concrete operational stage, Formal operational Stage and its educational implications.


Next section was handled by Gibi maam.she discussed on personality and adjustment.

Today was our art and aesthetic field visit as part our B Ed curriculum. Our whole team of first year BEd students and teachers were accompanied us. We have planned to visit Guru Gopinath Keralanadanagramam situated in Vatiyoorkavu.

Journey started after prayer. we reached there around 10.00 am. This institute provide training to different art forms including kerala Nadanam, light music etc. Also here provide training for musical instruments such as tabla , veena etc. Major contribution of Guru Gopinath was the creation of modern dance style kerala Nadanam from kathakali for better understanding to the ordinary people. we visited the dance museum. It provided a great experience to us. We can understood the different dance forms in an well explained manner. Then we have a class by Dr. Sajeev sir about the art form kerala Nadanam and also give a detailed description about Navarasas. Then we have a photo session of each optionals . They also provided us an opportunity to see a documentary on theyyam. That provide us a new experience. Really it was a beautyful and cheerfull day to all of us.


The Guru Gopinath Natanagramam (the Guru Gopinath Dance Village) is an institute for art established in 1995 to keep alive the memory of Guru Gopinath. Founded in the name of the great artist, Guru Gopinath, the objective is to bring music, dance and instrumental music under one roof and provide the best training.

Pioneering the training and development of the Kerala Natanam style of dancing, promotion of all Indian classical and folk dance forms and setting up of audio visual library and research centre, organising dance festivals are the other aims of the society. It conducts free training programme for the needy and talent students from the Government Schools in Trivandrum.

The wax museum was really surprising one... We really enjoyed on seeing those visuals. I got a feel of entering into a world of Art. We really explored the place by capturing beautiful pictures ❤️❤️❤️
